Dickies launches "Remastered Classics" inspired by DIY culture
US workwear brand Dickies has today launched a new collection called "Remastered Classics" which is inspired by DIY culture, garment repair and patching.
The heritage brand, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2022, has had its share of fashion moments – particularly in the skate and streetwear market, and this new collection nods towards the 90’s trend while also staying true to the brand’s workwear roots.
There’s bib overalls, coveralls, modified 874 work pants and chore coats with contrasting tonal fabrics and pattern patch detailing, as well as reworked paisley prints and corduroy and canvas pieces – built to stand the test of time.
For women there’s reworked crop cord pants and Tees, and for men there’s a remastered chore coat and utility pants in dark green, made out of a mix of corduroy and canvas fabrics.
