Diadora teams up with Ducati for 2022 MotoGP World Championship
Italian sportswear brand Diadora has signed a sponsorship deal with Italian motorcycle makers Ducati to create clothing and footwear for Ducati’s team for the 2022 MotoGP World Championship – commencing 6 March 2022 in Qatar.
It’s a multi-year contract and the initial release of products is also available to fans now including T-shirts, polo shirts, half-zip fleece tops and jackets.
Diadora has also created a customised version of its top-selling running shoe for the Ducati Lenovo Team, the ‘Blushfield Volo’, renamed the Ducati ‘Veloce’ for this new partnership. Fans can also now buy the trainer for £130 from both the Diadora and Ducati websites, as well as through Diadora stores.
Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding, said: “We are very happy to have Diadora alongside us - a prestigious partner with a proud Italian identity. Like Ducati, passion and performance represent the pillars of Diadora’s identity. It’s a relationship that involves not only the racing team, but the whole company, with products in line with the Ducati brand.”
