Desigual closes Regent Street flagship

Desigual has permanently shut its flagship store at 218 Regent Street, with commercial real estate business Cushman and Wakefield now advertising on the store front. 

The brand still operates six other retail locations across the UK, including a store in Northern Ireland and another in Scotland. The brand trades in 89 locations internationally and employees approximately 2,700 employees across 482 stores.

Desigual's founder Thomas Meyer announced last year that the brand would introduce a four-day working week for around 500 of its employees.
