Designers at Debenhams returns with AW25 collection by Ashish

Debenhams is relaunching its ‘Designers at Debenhams’ collaboration for AW25 with a collection by London-based fashion designer Ashish Gupta, who designs under the label ‘Ashish’.

The new initiative stays true to the heritage of what Designers at Debenhams, which was first launched in the 1990s, is all about: “unapologetically British, inclusive by design, and delivering runway-level drama for everyday wardrobes”, but importantly for Debenhams’ customers “without the designer prices”.

Ashish follows in the footsteps of previous designer collaborators with Debenhams, including Jasper Conran, Matthew Williamson, Henry Holland and Betty Jackson. He brings his “signature maximalism” to the retailer’s AW25 fashion offer, delivering pieces that are “equal parts statement-making and wearable”, with more than a hint of glamour.

Key designs, available across an inclusive size range, include technicolour oversized faux fur coats, “designed to turn even the greyest winter day into a fashion moment”, sequin slip dresses in fluid 90s-inspired silhouettes, and psychedelic printed jersey dresses featuring swirling bright patterns that “blur retro nostalgia with contemporary street style”.

The Designers at Debenhams x Ashish AW25 collection will be available exclusively on the Debenhams website from 8am on Thursday 9 October, with prices starting from £59.
