Depop to launch three-day pop-up at Sook on London’s Oxford Street
Digital fashion marketplace Depop is to launch a three-day pop-up in Sook’s rentable pop-up space at 58 Oxford Street in London.
It will bring top Depop sellers in front of existing and new customers through the ‘Powered by Depop’ sponsorship programme.
Encouraging more people to participate in second-hand and circular fashion, Celiapops and Identity Party will be in residence at the Depop pop-up on 11-12 November 2022, offering an edit of handpicked vintage and Y2K pieces - including an entire downstairs sale section with prices starting at just £5.
Then, on Sunday 13 November, Im Designs – with over 750 authentic vintage designer pieces, Loose Threads and Sorted Vintage will offer a range of streetwear in the space.
A Depop spokesperson said: “At Depop, we’re supporting and empowering our community to explore pop-up retail events, as a key part of their selling journey as we emerge into a post-pandemic world. 'Powered by Depop' is an event sponsorship programme, giving sellers the tools to take their dialogue offline and engage with like-minded people, by hosting pop-up shopping events across the UK.
“By championing our community, we're inviting more people to participate in second-hand and circular fashion – making it as desirable, accessible and affordable for as many people as possible.”
Depop seller pop-ups will be also taking place across Manchester, Sheffield and Nottingham throughout November and December 2022.
