Curate Private Sales switches to e-commerce sample sales model debuting with P.E Nation

Digital sample sales look set to be the next big thing for fashion brand’s looking to offload excess stock during the COVID-19 crisis, and premium stock sale company Curate Private Sales has subsequently adapted its sample sale service model to e-commerce.

It has launched its new platform with Australian women’s activewear brand P.E Nation. The flash sale will be open for five days only (from 22 April to 27 April) and will be exclusive to Curate’s 22,000-plus subscribers, shipping deliveries across the UK and internationally.

Curate Private Sales has previously produced physical sales for designers such as Victoria Beckham, Philip Lim 3:1, Christopher Kane, Self Portrait and Paige denim.

Fashion-lovers and bargain hunters usually flock to designer sample sales in great numbers, as the queues which normally form outside them testify. But, in these times of reduced social interaction, continuing with physical sample sales is simply not possible. Some of the best bargains will therefore now be found online.

Debbie Cartwright, managing director of Curate Private Sales, says: “We’re super excited about taking the Curate Sales online. It’s something we’ve always talked about and during these unprecedented times, there is no better time than now. Moving forward, we will be providing our subscribers both an on and offline shopping experience.

The P.E Nation stock will be from previous seasons, discounted up to 60% off RRP.

Offering a mix of styles and a variety of sizes, deliveries will take up to five days from purchase.
