Crystal Palace kit maker Macron reports 'strong' first half as it eyes record annual revenues
Italian sportswear brand Macron, which recently reported a "multi-year extension" to its partnership with FA Cup winners Crystal Palace, has recorded total revenues of €107 million (£92.5 million) in the first half of 2025.
That’s up 14.7% from €93 million (£80.4 million) in the first half of 2024, and an almost 30% jump compared to €79 million (£68.3 million) in 2023.
Macron is now forecasting record annual revenues of €240 million (£207 million) for full year 2025 – exceeding its annual revenues of €223.6 million (£192.8 million) in 2024.
The company puts the growth down to sustained international expansion, and while the UK and Italy remain its top markets, recent growth in Germany and the US has been "significant".
The overseas expansion strategy has been supported by the opening of a new distribution centre in Connecticut in the US in 2024.
On home soil, Macron is also investing approximately €15 million (£13 million) in a further development of its headquarters in Valsamoggia, Bologna. A fourth building is being added at the Macron Campus, which will also no doubt spell a new recruitment drive.
Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron, said: "The results achieved in the first half of 2025 once again confirm the soundness of our growth path and the value of the strategic choices made in recent years, particularly in terms of internationalisation and our unwavering commitment to product quality.
"Our expansion into complex markets shows that our model based on innovation, sporting passion and attention to detail is appreciated worldwide. At the same time, the ongoing investments in the Macron Campus are essential to supporting this growth: we want to keep improving, looking to the future with ambition, convinced that beautiful things are created in beautiful places."
Following Crystal Palace’s victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup final at Wembley in May, which was broadcast to millions of people around the world - with the team and thousands of Palace fans wearing Macron football shirts - Pavanello commented: "This year, we experienced one of the most thrilling moments in Crystal Palace’s history, and we are glad to have been a part of it."
In June, Macron launched the third collection of its Clubhouse line for SS26 at Pitti Uomo in Florence, as it now looks to the fashion sector for further growth.
