Cruyff opens store in Manchester's Arndale Centre
Following the success of their Barcelona flagship and Amsterdam stores, premium apparel and footwear brand, Cruyff has today opened a boutique style store in Manchester's Arndale Centre.
Cruyff offers a wide variety of premium men’s and women’s shoes and sneakers alongside matching tracksuit sets, puffer jackets, graphic tees and classic track tops.
The brand has a rich history in Northern England, where it has been seen in football terraces nationwide for decades. As Manchester is home to the largest retail sector in the UK outside of London, Cruyff intends to be "reclaiming their presence in this vibrant city."
The brand’s founder, internationally renowned football player, Johan Cruyff, was known for his sharp and stylish away from the football field.
Staffed initially by ten employees, the store is designed with clean lines and sharp silhouettes, reflecting the offering of apparel and footwear, complimenting one another for a premium shopping experience. Bold pops of neon orange can be seen throughout the store alongside dark metal and black.
Alongside their own Cruyff brand, the store will also offer a “guest brand concept”. Starting with menswear from Off The Pitch., a young and up-and-coming brand from Rotterdam. Any guest brands offered within the store will be in line with the company's ethos and core consumer base.
Ferenc van der Vlies, Co-owner of Cruyff, said: "We are very excited and proud to open our first Manchester store. The city is an iconic music and creative hub and being one of the biggest football capitals in the world is a perfect fit."
