Crocs to open first north-east outlet at Dalton Park
Crocs is set to open its first outlet store in the north-east of England this autumn, with a new 1,530 sq ft site at Dalton Park shopping centre in County Durham.
The store, located on the outskirts of Murton, will stock Crocs’ clogs, sandals and accessories for adults and children.
The opening adds to a growing fashion retail offer at Dalton Park, with recent arrivals including Belstaff and TFG London’s multi-brand store featuring Hobbs, Phase Eight and Whistles.
Nicky Lovell, Head of Outlets & Retail Business Development at Dalton Park management company Global Mutual, said the Crocs opening would broaden the centre’s footwear offer.
“Bringing the first Crocs outlet to the north-east gives us an opportunity to add something genuinely different to an already well-established footwear offer at Dalton Park,” she said.
“Crocs has a distinctive proposition and appeals to a particularly broad customer base, so it complements the footwear brands already here rather than simply adding more of the same.”
The new outlet comes as Crocs continues to expand its UK retail presence. In March, the footwear brand opened its first full-price UK store at Westfield Stratford, adding to its existing outlet at London Designer Outlet in Wembley.
The brand has also continued to build its presence through collaborations, including recent collections with Umbro and Nintendo.
Crocs’ latest financial results showed consolidated revenue fell 1.7% year-on-year to $921 million (£678 million) in the first quarter of 2026, although direct-to-consumer revenue increased 12.1% to $322 million (£237 million).
In April, the company raised its full-year outlook, with revenue now expected to be broadly flat or increase by up to 1%.
The Dalton Park opening will give Crocs its first outlet presence in the north-east, expanding its reach beyond its existing UK retail locations.
