Crocs takes cut-price retail route with first London outlet store

Crocs will be opening a 1,456 sq ft store at the London Designer Outlet (LDO) in Wembley later this year.

The new outlet store will feature Crocs’ extensive range of products for adults and kids, including its iconic clogs, sandals and "more on-trend" styles. The store will also feature a wide variety of Jibbitz charms for personalisation opportunities.

The arrival of Crocs comes as LDO continues to see strong spend from brand savvy shoppers who are keen to access quality brands at an affordable price.

Crocs will be the latest fashion and lifestyle brand to take space at LDO following the arrivals of French Connection, Rituals and Miniso in 2024.

Matt Slade, Retail Director at London Designer Outlet owner, Quintain, said: "Crocs is a globally recognised brand that taps into the huge footwear trend amongst the dynamic, young and brand-savvy shopper demographic that we see here.

"LDO sits immediately within the buzz of London’s fast growing, vibrant new neighbourhood with a diverse multi-generational audience and international students on the Wembley Park doorstep, while enjoying year round high footfall driven by its iconic location next to the Wembley Stadium and excellent connectivity with London and commuter hubs.

"As a must have and innovative brand, Crocs strengthens our position as London’s haven for shoppers seeking on trend, premium footwear and trainers at affordable prices."

According to Quintain, shoppers under the age of 44 made up over half of LDO’s total spend during the past year. The Crocs signing is the latest example of the outlet destination responding to such figures, following the additional of Rituals and Miniso "who’s product ranges appeal to this demographic".
