Crocs launches new Super Mario collection with Nintendo

Crocs has today launched a Super Mario collection in partnership with Nintendo, designed “for fans of all ages”.

Rooted in nostalgia, five distinctive clogs celebrate some of the game series’ most iconic characters from the Mushroom Kingdom.

The collection features elevated design elements including custom backstraps, three-dimensional graphics and exclusive co-branded Jibbitz charms.

The ‘Mario Classic Clog’ comes in a bold blue, topped with a plush red cap and customised with six exclusive Jibbitz charms. The yellow buttons from Mario’s overalls pop from the heel cup for a style that is unmistakably Mario. It comes in unisex adult sizing.

Next up is the ‘Super Mario Classic Clog’, featuring a blue colourway with a graphic print including coins, ‘Super Stars’ and ‘Green Shells’, and is available in adults’, kids’ and toddlers’ sizes. Super Mushrooms adorn the outer rivets, and a block badge is fixed to the backstrap.

There’s also the ‘Princess Peach Classic Platform Clog’ with a glitter platform sole and pink upper, complete with seven exclusive Jibbitz charms decorating the upper with fixed faux jewels, the ‘Yoshi Classic Clog’ in bright green with Yoshi’s orange fins stretching across the upper and egg and apple charms, and the ‘Bowser Classic Clog’, which features seven spikes on the upper and five more on the backstrap.

 

From Mario’s signature red and blue to Princess Peach’s soft pink hues, Yoshi’s vibrant green and Bowser’s spiked edge, each style is “crafted to channel the personality and power of its character”.

This latest Crocs partnership follows the brand’s collaboration with Umbro, which launched last month, featuring two exclusive football-inspired clogs ahead of the World Cup.

That came off the back of Crocs’ collaboration with LEGO in January on a ‘Brick Clog’, as well as last summer’s partnership with Krispy Kreme on donut-inspired clogs.
