Crocs collaborates with RuPaul’s Drag Race for London event

Footwear brand Crocs will partner with BBC Three's RuPaul's Drag Race UK to sponsor the upcoming RuPaul's DragCon UK event and produce a limited edition collection of charms.

Crocs will sponsor the Main Stage at the event, set to take place at the ExCeL London from Friday 6 January to Sunday 8 January 2023.

The event will allow attendees purchase drag memorabilia and meet their favourite RuPaul's Drag Race contestants from the show's British, American, Canadian, Dutch, Italian, and Philippines franchises.

Crocs will be serving up a limited edition RuPeter Jibbitz charms, which can be used to customise a pair of Crocs. The RuPeter charms, based on the BBC Blue Peter design, will available exclusively at the convention and will not be released again.

Yann Le Bozec, Crocs' VP Marketing EMEA-LATAM & Global Lead Distributor Marketing, said: “RuPaul’s DragCon celebrates the power of authentic self- expression, an idea that lives at the heart of our brand, and we stand with those who bravely inspire others to embrace what it means to truly Come As You Are. We believe that personal expression is an inherent choice and recognising what makes each one of us unique is part of our commitment to inclusivity everywhere.”

Further exclusive programming details have also been “ru-vealed” including a sponsored Anastasia Beverly Hills Makeup competition judged by RuPaul’s very own make-up artist Raven, immersive activations from RuPaul’s Drag Race, and a Kids Fashion Show.

In October 2022, Crocs celebrated 20 years of fandom during its Croctober celebrations. As a brand well known for its loyal global fanbase, the milestone moment delivered several fan-fuelled experiences with a month of surprise activations.
