Crew Clothing’s UK retail roll-out continues with first East Midlands store
British lifestyle brand Crew Clothing is gearing to open a 1,200 sq ft store at the Derbion Shopping Centre in early December – ready for the run-up to Christmas - its first standalone store in the East Midlands, as its UK store expansion continues.
In June, Crew Clothing marked its return to Belfast with a 1,000 sq ft store at the Victoria Square Shopping Centre. That followed three new Crew Clothing stores in Chiswick, Altrincham and a “bigger, better” 1,800 sq ft store on the Promenade in Cheltenham, which opened in April.
Crew Clothing now has over 100 standalone stores, concessions and outlets nationwide.
The arrival of Crew Clothing in East Midlands follows the recent announcement that Primark will be opening a store at Derbion in early 2027, as the retail destination continues to grow its fashion offering.
Earlier this year, Derbion welcomed Victoria’s Secret, Seasalt, and Luke 1977, while “customer favourites” Footlocker, Pandora and Moss all invested in store upgrades.
Commenting on its newest addition to its UK retail portfolio, Carol Kane, Head of Retail North at Crew Clothing, said: “We are excited to be bringing Crew Clothing to the East Midlands.
“At Derbion, we have the perfect location to grow our footprint across the region, and we look forward to working with the Derbion team to create a best-in-class standalone store.
“The store will open just in time for the festive season, and customers will be able to shop our new winter and Christmas collections in store from opening.”
Beth McDonald, Managing Director at Derbion, added: “We are delighted that Crew Clothing has become the latest brand to select Derbion for its first standalone location in the East Midlands.
“Crew Clothing increases our fashion offering, and we expect the brand to prove popular with shoppers from across the region. This letting to Crew Clothing caps an action packed year for Derbion as we continue to evolve our retail and leisure offering.”
In June, Crew Clothing made its move into the activewear market with the launch of Crew Sport, a new collection designed to fuse technical performance with the brand’s laid back aesthetic which had been 18 months in the making.
