Club L London sets sights on 'global growth' with German expansion
Club L London, the British womenswear brand known for its elevated occasionwear, is taking a significant step in its international expansion with today's launch of a fully localised German website.
The move comes amid a period of exceptional international performance for the brand, marked by triple-digit year-on-year growth across several key markets.
This new site marks a strategic effort by Club L London to meet growing demand from the German-speaking DACH region. Customers in Germany can now expect an entirely localised shopping experience from their native language, euro pricing, tailored content and improved logistics.
Katie Randev, Founder and CEO of Club L London, said: "We’ve seen a significant increase in demand from Germany and across the DACH region, and this launch is a direct response to that.
"As we scale globally, it’s crucial that we deliver a seamless, localised shopping experience that reflects our customer-first approach. The new site allows us to better connect with our growing audience in Germany while driving further growth across the region."
The announcement follows a year of sustained international acceleration. Club L London reported a 300% uplift in the Middle East, alongside continued momentum in European markets. Overall, the company achieved a £44 million turnover in 2024 with a 51% year-on-year revenue increase.
This comes as the brand actively invests in infrastructure, digital innovation and logistics to future-proof its global operations and support increasing demand.
As part of its expansion, in February, Club L London acquired occasionwear competitor Lavish Alice in an undisclosed seven-figure deal. This comprehensive integration set out to "strengthen Club L London's market position and accelerate global expansion".
This deal marked Club L London's first acquisition, which included all aspects of Lavish Alice's operations - intellectual property rights, website, inventory, social media accounts and customer data.
