Clarks freezes back to school prices to help ease cost-of-living crisis
British footwear brand Clarks is putting a price freeze on its freshly launched back to school collection.
The company is keeping its school shoes at 2023 prices to help families still feeling the pinch from the cost-of-living crisis.
It is also offering a 'buy together save together' bundle, where parents can get £10 off a pair of kid's trainers when they buy black school shoes.
Additionally, Clarks has introduced a new 'fit guarantee', where if kids outgrow their school shoes within three months of their in-store fitting they can go in and exchange them for a new pair free of charge.
Bringing a touch of Clarks’ customer care directly to peoples' homes, a measuring gauge can also be requested to carry out kids’ sizing checks before heading in-store.
It comes after Primark also recently decided to freeze prices on hundreds of kids’ back to school essentials – including shoes, backpacks, lunchboxes and stationery – offering customers bargains at the same low prices as 2021.
Prices across other essential kids’ items have also been frozen, including jeans, joggers, long-sleeved t-shirts and jackets, as the value retailer looks to help British households that are continuing to feel the pinch - with almost half (48%) expecting to spend less this year because of the rising costs of everyday products.
