The Centre for Fashion Enterprise will stage its Manufacturers Trade Show alongside the Textile Forum, when the shows takes place next month.

Both events will take place at One Marylebone from 11-12 October and will offer designers "an unrivalled opportunity to source quality fabric and garment manufacturing under one roof,” said Linda Laderman co-founder of the Textile Forum, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year.

The Manufacturers Trade Show, which first took place in July of this year in Bethnal Green, is a part of CFE’s Fashion Technology Emerging Futures (FTEF) project, part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

“The vision for our Manufacturers Trade Show is to connect fashion businesses with high end production units with a view to developing long lasting relationships. There is a strong synergy with visitors attending Textile Forum so we are delighted to relocate and provide our exhibitors with a two-day event,” said Judith Tolley, head of CFE.

CFE is a fashion and fashion technology incubator whose purpose is to fast-track fashion designers and entrepreneurs into successful businesses. Current businesses being supported include Wales Bonner, Liam Hodges, Faustine Steinmetz, Roberts Wood and Alex Mullins.

Textile Forum and CFE Manufacturers Trade Show will be open from 10am to 6pm on 11-12 October. Visitor registration for both events is via Textileforum.org.uk. Textile Forum exhibitors will be showing more than 70 collections of fabrics for spring/summer and autumn/winter while CFE will showcase more than 20 exhibitors who can produce smaller scale quantities for fashion entrepreneurs.
