Cecilie Bahnsen x Asics limited edition trainers launch at Dover Street Market
Danish womenswear designer Cecilie Bahnsen has once again teamed up with Japanese activewear brand Asics on a limited-edition collection of trainers, which have just launched exclusively at Dover Street Market in London.
Following last year’s successful up-cycled collections with Asics, the new collaboration consists of just 150 pairs of Asics ‘GEL-NYC’ trainers, which have been hand embellished with beads in Cecilie Bahnsen’s Copenhagen atelier.
The accompanying campaign, shot in Paris by Danish photographer Freja Wewer in a raw and unfiltered style, is a nod to Photo London 2023 – taking place at London’s Somerset House between 11-14 May and showcasing the very best in past, present and future photography.
The collage style of the campaign, which highlights the trainers’ elegant floral patches, “creates reference to a tactile feeling where the touch of hand and crafted nature of the shoes is mirrored”.
The trainers are now available in sizes 36-44, priced at £340.
