Premium British sportswear brand Castore, which kits out tennis star Andy Murray who also became a shareholder in the brand last year, will open its second store at the Liverpool One shopping centre on 10 April 2020.

The new 1,579 sq ft store at 17/18 Manesty’s Lane is the brand’s first step outside the capital, complementing Castore’s existing store on London’s King’s Road, which opened in October 2019, as well as the brand’s burgeoning e-commerce presence, which includes premium online stockists MATCHESFASHION, Selfridges and Mr Porter.

The store will reflect the brand’s philosophy of "Better Never Stops", offering specially engineered men’s apparel, along with its newly launched womenswear line. Each product is designed in the UK and manufactured in Portugal, using advanced engineering and unique Italian-milled technical fabrics to optimise athletic performance.

Tom Beahon, co-founder at Castore, said: “After a successful emergence on to the online and London markets, our unrelenting commitment to engineering the highest quality sportswear in the world has propelled us to this exciting expansion.

“Castore was born in Liverpool and the city holds huge significance in our hearts, so we can’t wait to open this new location and join the brilliant line-up of brands at Liverpool ONE.”

Headquartered in Liverpool, Castore was established in 2016 by brothers Tom and Phil Beahon, both born and raised in the city. Sharing backgrounds in competitive sport and finance, the pair launched the brand in London, in response to an identified need for discerning and innovative performance wear as an alternative to mass-market brands.
