Castore launches 007 collaboration collection

Premium British sportswear brand Castore is launching a capsule collaboration collection with the 007 franchise tomorrow, 8 December 2022, in this the 60th anniversary year since the first James Bond film, Dr. No, starring Sean Connery as the famous spy.

The dual branded Castore and 007 collection aims to “explore the synergies in mindset between high level athletes and James Bond himself”, consisting of 12 high intensity training and lifestyle pieces for customers to “explore their inner Bond and athlete”.

Silhouettes are refined and details are discreet and functional, engineered to optimise performance using lightweight and high stretch fabrics, ergonomically cut to allow for a maximum range of movement in the toughest of situations.

Key pieces in the collection include the ‘007 Garcia 2.0 Hoody’, made from Castore’s unique and innovative water-resistant fabric, a ‘Hybrid Jacket’ - quilted front and back for warmth - with compact stretch sleeves for maximum range of movement, and ‘Stretch Chinos’ for everyday wear, which have a tailored fit and come in a temperature regulating fabric that prevents overheating.

While we await news on who the next James Bond will be, following actor Daniel Craig stepping down from the role after five films – kicking off with ‘Casino Royale’ in 2006 and culminating in last year’s ‘No Time to Die’ - this new collection should keep Bond fans and sporting types happy for now. Prices range from £12 - £175 and the collection goes live on the Castore website from tomorrow.
