Casablanca appoints former Adidas exec as Chief Marketing Officer
Luxury fashion brand Casablanca Paris has appointed Priya de Souza as Chief Marketing Officer, reporting to CEO Frederick Lukoff.
Working closely with Casablanca founder and Creative Director, Charaf Tajer, and the communications team, in her new role de Souza will “shape, design, lead and deliver a world-class communications and marketing strategy for the brand”.
For the past four and a half years de Souza has been in the role of Senior Director Global Marketing Communications at Adidas, where her role included the campaigns for all Adidas Originals collaborations, such as Gucci, Balenciaga and Grace Wales Bonner, as well as heading up social and PR channels.
Prior to that, she was Global Brand Director at Exposure from October 2019 to March 2021, having joined after a year as Brand Director at Agent Provocateur. She also spent almost nine years at Dazed Media, culminating in the role of Executive Director of Partnerships.
Tajer commented: “Priya and I have known each other for 15 years, and it’s a pleasure to welcome such a brilliant and sensitive mind to the industry.
