Carvela to enter US with Dillard's

Carvela, the Kurt Geiger owned mainline footwear brand, is entering the US market via an exclusive partnership with Dillard's.

The London-designed brand will be available in 75 branches of Dillard's department stores from December and its launch will be supported with a dedicated marketing campaign.

Its first drop will be its Cruise collection featuring signature sandals, sneakers and heels to suit all occasions priced from $85 to $150.

Commenting on the launch Steven Sousa, International Director of Kurt Geiger said: “We are thrilled to be launching our mainline Carvela range in America with Dillard’s, such a well-known and respected department store. We look forward to maximizing this fantastic opportunity and are excited to build and grow the Carvela brand across the US with such a great partner.”

Kurt Geiger is the UK's leading premium footwear retailer and operates more than 70 stores globally and also operates concessions and e-commerce sites for its partners. It has run the footwear departments of both Selfridges and Harrods for the past 25 year. Its brand line-up includes Kurt Geiger London, KG, Carvela and Miss KG.

Dillard's operates 250 stores across 29 US states and is one of the largest fashion retailers in the US with annual sales exceeding $6.3bn.
