Canada Goose opens first pop-up store in Manchester

Luxury lifestyle brand Canada Goose has opened its first pop-up store in Manchester. The temporary pop-up emphasises the brand's global storytelling platform, titled 'Live in the Open' and aims to inspire people to connect with the world and nature.

Located on New Cathedral Street, the pop-up presents products built for the city’s classically oceanic climate and cooler Northern temperatures. This includes parkas, rainwear, knitwear and accessories for all genders and children.

The store design showcases visuals, entitled the 'Life of Forests’, by photographer Brendan George Ko. Along with a leafy foliage throughout the space, as reference to the Canadian wilderness. A nature-inspired audio recording, produced by Artist Joseph Murray, also adds to the immersive experience.

Celebrating the opening of the pop-up store and 'Live in the Open' concept, Canada Goose has created an outdoor experience for locals. Nearly half a million wildflower seeds were embedded in leaflets attached to billboards around the city, for people to discover.

Once all of the seeds had been collected, a creative visual that illustrates the 'Live in the Open' ethos was revealed.
