Cambridge Satchel appoints new CEO to spearhead expansion
British leather goods company Cambridge Satchel, which is part of French group Chargeurs Invest along with its luxury sister brand Swaine, has appointed Vincent Perriard as Chief Executive Officer to lead the “next phase of growth”.
Perriard, who succeeds previous CEO Carine de Koenigswarter, is a Swiss entrepreneur who has expertise in brand strategy, innovation and rejuvenation across the luxury and technology industries. He brings significant international experience, having held global marketing responsibilities at Audemars Piguet.
Perriard’s brand leadership experience includes the successful repositioning of Zegna, Escada, and Agnès B, "further demonstrating his strategic impact within the luxury fashion industry".
He is also the co-founder of ORIGYN Foundation, a blockchain technology protocol for luxury brands to facilitate authentication systems and served as an advisor to Comité Colbert.
Perriard, who actually joined the Cambridge Satchel business in November 2025, said: "I am delighted to be joining Cambridge Satchel at such a pivotal moment in its history. My ambition is to take both brands into the next phase of growth, continuing international expansion while refocusing on British heritage, quality and craftsmanship.
"We are looking forward to expanding our product ranges and collaborations while introducing the brand to global consumers who value the finest made products."
With six wholly owned stores across the UK and France, Cambridge Satchel is supported by a global e-commerce business that has been experiencing growth in the US and Europe beyond its established UK base.
Building on its British heritage, the brand continues to expand internationally, with further strategic ambitions in the US, Europe, Japan and China.
