Byan to trial UK retail for the first time with Covent Garden pop-up
Contemporary Spanish womenswear brand Byan is opening a pop-up store at 28 Henrietta Street in London’s Covent Garden – its first ever standalone retail presence in the UK, set to run from 12 November until January 2026.
Bringing the brand’s “signature timeless designs” and high quality Spanish craftsmanship to the capital, the store will house the new AW25 collection which spans plaid coats and jackets in 100% wool with cotton velvet detailing, mix and match tailoring, separates and dresses.
Byan founder and CEO Andrea Moragues, said: “London has always been a city that inspires us and we are thrilled to launch this pop-up store and connect directly with our UK customers.
“Covent Garden is renowned for its vibrant blend of heritage and modernity and so it felt like the perfect destination for us to launch our new Byan boutique.”
Moragues, a former interior architect, launched Byan in 2018 taking inspiration from her travels and passion for design.
It was while in India, having moved there with her husband when he was assigned there for work, that she was originally inspired by its bustling markets, vibrant colours and “extraordinary fabrics”, prompting a career change.
She began collaborating with local tailors and designing her first garments, pieces that would later shape the essence of Byan, which was conceived on her return to Madrid.
Each garment is produced in Spain using premium fabrics. There’s also a focus on sustainability, including limited production and the use of eco-friendly processes.
Byan is also available at Liberty in London, in the brand’s flagship store in Madrid, as well as on the Byan website, with prices ranging from £140 - £360.
