Social fashion rental app By Rotation is partnering with Page8 hotel in London on the UK’s first in-room fashion rental concierge.
The service will allow hotel guests to pack less, travel lighter and gain access to pieces from just £5 per day from brands such as Rixo, Ganni, Loewe and Jacquemus.
The hotel, at 8 St. Martin’s Place, reopens on 22 May, with many people planning their first trip to London for many months ahead of hospitality venues being allowed to reopen inside, as the government’s restrictions ease further from Monday.
Once booked in, guests will be offered a look book of carefully curated items for them to choose from to wear out on the town.
The service provides the option of ordering up to 10 clothing and accessory items straight to a guest’s room, arriving in under 90 minutes or less, “making for a quick and easy outfit change for that impromptu dinner reservation or night out in the city.”
Hotel guests can also plan ahead, and order looks before arrival. Once checked in, guests will be able to find their chosen pieces steamed and pressed in their wardrobe waiting to be worn.
By Rotation has grown a big following in the UK with over 40,000 users and has become a household name for those looking to enjoy fashion in a sustainable and stylish way, having also been featured in the likes of Vogue, Forbes and the BBC.
By Rotation’s pricing structure is often 10% of the retail price for a weekend, ensuring rentals are charged at an affordable fee, dictated by the rental time frame.
Each item in the Page8 look book has been carefully selected by By Rotation’s in-house stylists, and guests may even find themselves wearing an outfit from a celebrity or top fashion influencer who are on the app.
