Burberry to stage first live runway show in two years in March 2022

Burberry is returning to its hometown for its Autumn 2022 runway show, marking the British company's first runway show in front of a live audience in two years.

The London event, which is not part of any official fashion week schedule, is slated to take place on 11 March, shortly after the conclusion of Paris Fashion Week.

Whilst Burberry has yet to release details on the upcoming show, the decision marks the transition back to in-person runway shows. The label is among London's biggest names to be absent from the upcoming London Fashion Week's line-up, joining notable designers such as Victoria Beckham, JW Anderson, Emilia Wickstead and Christopher Kane.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak and the ensuing lockdowns across the world, Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci has replaced traditional physical shows with creative formats of digital and physical displays.
