Brunello Cucinelli calls 2025 'exceptional' as it reports record performance
Brunello Cucinelli has closed 2025 on a high, reporting "excellent" full-year results. The Italian maison expects 2025 revenues to rise between 11% and 12% at constant exchange rates, above its previous guidance.
The year has also been marked by a wave of industry recognition. Founder Brunello Cucinelli was honoured with the British Fashion Council’s Outstanding Achievement Award in December. The celebration coincided with a major Harrods takeover running until 31 January, where 26 windows are dedicated to the brand. Cinecittà in Rome also hosted the premiere of Brunello: The Gracious Visionary, a feature-length documentary directed by Oscar-winner Giuseppe Tornatore.
Brunello Cucinelli, Executive Chairman and Creative Director of the Casa di Moda, said: "As 2025 draws to a close, we can look back on a year of excellent results, in terms of revenue, profits and a great image for the brand.
"This past year has been exceptionally generous to us, offering many blessings: as a company and as individuals, we have received a series of truly special recognitions that have filled us with joy and optimism for the years ahead."
The brand delivered strong like-for-like retail growth with a highly curated programme of boutique openings and refurbishments. Wholesale remained stable across its selective network of around 400 global partners. The Harrods activation has been a particular highlight, giving the brand significant visibility during the peak festive trading period.
Meanwhile, 2025 marked the early completion of the company’s three-year plan to enhance its Italian manufacturing infrastructure. Investments include expansion of the Solomeo hub and new outerwear ateliers in Penne and Gubbio. More than 200 new employees joined the business this year, reinforcing its long-term commitment to Italian craftsmanship and production continuity through 2035.
Looking ahead, the company will unveil its new AI-enhanced e-commerce platform in January 2026. Developed with Solomei AI using Callimacus technology, the platform is designed to interpret customer intent and elevate personalisation in real time - reflecting Cucinelli’s belief that technology should "serve to exalt human creativity, not replace it."
Early indicators for 2026 are robust, with an order book showing strong sell-in for Spring/Summer 2026 and positive market reception to the newly presented Fall/Winter 2026 women’s pre-collection.
