Brunello Cucinelli beats luxury slump once again with double digit growth
Italian luxury group Brunello Cucinelli has posted another strong performance, with double-digit revenue growth in the first half of 2025, supported by investment in production and boutique expansion.
Revenues for the six months to 30 June 2025 rose to €684.1 million (£582 million), up by 10.2% compared to the same period in 2024.
Operating profit (EBIT) reached €113.8 million (£97 million), an 8.8% increase year-on-year, meanwhile, net profit rose by an impressive 16% to €76.7 million (£65 million), representing 11.2% of revenues.
During the first half of the year, the luxury company invested €63.5 million (£54 million) completing a three-year plan for artisanal “Made in Italy” production. It included the doubling of its Solomeo factory, which will secure production capacity until around 2035.
The retail network expanded to 130 boutiques worldwide, up from 126 a year earlier, with notable openings and relocations in London’s Sloane Street and Vienna. Staff numbers increased to 3,283 employees from 3,021 in H1 2024.
Momentum has continued into July and August, with the Fall-Winter 2025 collection seeing a strong start in boutiques.
As a result, Brunello Cucinelli expects to close 2025 with revenue growth of around 10% and "healthy and balanced" profits.
