Browns has collaborated with Hillary Taymour for its second iteration of its Conscious documentary series. In October, the trailblazing luxury boutique had launched the Conscious edit which offers an ever-growing selection of brands and products that have been created with “the future of our planet in mind."

Last season, Browns had teamed up with Duran and this season, for episode two of its conscious series, the luxury boutique is collaborating with Hillary Taymour. The collaboration will include a documentary behind the scenes of her SS20 show and the designer's focuses around sustainability.

Browns will also be stocking Hillary’s SS20 collection alongside the documentary. Hillary Taymour is the creative master mind behind New York based brand Collina Strada, which places sustainability at the core of its DNA.

The much hyped SS20 collection features fabrics which were sourced from deadstock materials and upcycled sweatshirts.

Womenswear and Menswear Buying Director at Browns, Ida Petersson, said: “Hillary has helped push awareness for sustainability in fashion since CollinaStrada’s inception –the brand is constantly innovating and trying to do better whilst maintaining a clear point of difference in design and direction. No mean feat! But above everything else, Hillary is also a woman that every time I meet her inspires me to be a better person and it felt important us to share the love we have for her and the brand by showcasing the great work they do through this conscious series.”

Hillary Taymour said: “I’ve always considered myself a troublemaker and I’m just trying to start using that trouble for good and really isolating it to trying to spread a positive love for everything.”
