British Land drops bid to derail Monsoon rent cuts

British Land, one of the UK's biggest high street landlords, has abandoned a legal challenge that threatened to derail a rescue restructuring of Monsoon Accessorize, the fashion chain.

Sky News has learnt that the FTSE-100 property company, which owns sites including the Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield, has agreed to withdraw a bid to block Monsoon's company voluntary arrangement (CVA).
