British Fashion Council partners with Bottletop's #Togetherband campaign to promote equality in the industry

The British Fashion Council (BFC) has collaborated with Bottletop's #Togetherband campaign to launch a special Black Edition bracelet at The Fashion Awards, to support both diversity and a sustainable long-term future for the British fashion world and its newest talent.

In addition to continuing its alliance with the United Nations Office for Partnerships (UNOP), the campaign hopes to drive awareness of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and raise funds for the British Fashion Council Foundation.

Available to purchase at togetherband.org, the new Black on Black Edition band is made from recycled Parley Ocean Plastic and Humanium Metal, which is created by melting down seized illegal firearms. Proceeds from the sales will be donated to the BFC Foundation, supporting the future growth and success of the British fashion industry.

The charity aims to provide education, grants and business mentoring for new designers, with the goal of ensuring a more diverse talent pool and community-minded businesses.
