Boux Avenue to reopen remainder of UK stores

10 July 2020

Boux Avenue has confirmed the opening dates for the remainder of its 31 stores, following the first stage of a phased roll-out on 24 June.

Further phased store openings will take place between today, Friday 10 July and Monday 13 July, with the exception of Oxford Street and Manchester Airport, which will remain closed for the foreseeable.

Boux Avenue stores have been remodelled in order to facilitate the Government’s social distancing guidelines and visual reminders will be placed at key points for the attention and safety of both colleagues and customers. New measures include:

  • Restrictions on the amount of customers in store
  • Additional floor markings and signage
  • Use of contactless payments where possible
  • Increased frequency of cleaning and sanitising
  • Perspex screens at till points
  • Quarantining returned goods for up to 72 hours
  • PPE available for staff

Due to the nature of Boux Avenue’s product and Government social distancing guidelines, the boutique-style fitting rooms and expert bra fitting service will not be open until further notice.

The brand’s specialist bra fitters continue to be on-hand to consult with customers on finding the best bra for their shape and style.

Boux Avenue comments: “The safety and confidence of our customers is always our number one priority, so our colleagues have been working hard behind-the-scenes to ensure that rigorous safety measures are in place.

"Like many retailers, we are facing a 'new normal' in terms of how our stores operate, and we are confident that with the high level of expertise and specialist experience of our store colleagues, we’ll continue to offer our excellent standards of customer service.”

The brand also launched its first unretouched lingerie campaign this week, featuring ambassadors; Malin Andersson and Zara McDermott. The campaign encourages customers to celebrate themselves and embrace their confidence.
