Boux Avenue champions women by partnering with CoppaFeel! and Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust

Lingerie retailer, Boux Avenue, is offering customers the chance to donate to women-centric charities CoppaFeel! and Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust.

Breast and Cervical Cancers are among the most common cancers for women in the UK. One in seven women are affected with breast cancer in their lifetime, and nine per day are diagnosed with Cervical cancer.

These shocking statistics have led the lingerie retailer to partner with the breast cancer charity CoppaFeel! and cervical cancer charity Cervical Cancer Trust.

The partnership will launch in stores and online from this month, allowing customers to donate at till points in stores and at checkout on BouxAvenue.com.

To support and educate on the topic, Boux Avenue's site has been updated with a Charity landing page, providing highlighted information on the organisations, key facts and a link to The Avenue wellness blog.

Throughout the duration of the partnership, the retailer will be updating The Avenue Wellness Blog each month with educational content to support their female shoppers. What's more, Boux Avenue has teamed up with four women who are currently living with or have lived with either breast or cervical cancer. They will take to Boux Avenue's website and social media channels to engage with customers and tell their stories.

In store, all of Boux’s fitting room mirrors will feature scannable QR codes, which will take shoppers to the digital charity page.

Zoe Price-Smith, Boux Avenue’s Chief Design and Product Officer, commented: "At Boux Avenue we are passionate about supporting our community in any way we can, which is why we are thrilled to launch a partnership with not just one charity but two charities.

"We have chosen CoppaFeel! and Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust as they align with our key brand messaging of empowering women, taking ownership of their bodies and feeling confident. Whether that is confidence in checking your breasts on a monthly basis or attending your cervical screening. With this joint partnership, we hope we can help make a positive impact in the women’s health sector."
