Boohoo to launch second NFT drop

Following the success of its first free NFT launch, Boohoo has returned with a second drop to drive female representation and inclusiveness in the metaverse.

Boohoo has partnered with four female artists from the NFT community, Amy Kilner, Reem El, Aoife O’Dwyer and Shar.eth to create an inclusive avatar collection for the digital world.

The artists created 230 unique traits and features from Boohoo’s product range, which Boohoo has used to created a collection of 30,000 avatars to represent the diversity of their community. The newest avatar collection comes with a series of utilities for users, including "access to future metaverse projects, a gated discord community and to future Boohooverse events."

Holders will be in with a chance to win travel vouchers and cash rewards, with the winners announced on the Boohooverse social channels within 2 weeks of the collection selling out.

Boohoo initially entered the metaverse by launching its free Boohooverse Access Pass, the first in a series of NFTs created in collaboration with female artists and GMGN Labs. Designed by artist Amy Kilner, the NFTs were claimed within three hours.

Remm El, one of the NFT artists added: "As a digital artist who’s new to the NFT space, working with Boohoo has given me a very exciting opportunity to get established and gain experience on a generative NFT collection, which has helped open further opportunities for me."
