Boohoo launches scholarship competition
Fast-fashion e-tailer Boohoo has launched a scholarship competition in partnership with the York St John University’s London Campus.
The scholarship will offer ambitious entrepreneurs the chance for funded places on a brand new, year-long business creating Masters Degree course where the winners will be able to gain industry experience and receive expert help to plan and launch their business idea.
The competition will cover fees for the year and can be applied to any of the three new masters degrees: Design Business Creation MSc, Fashion & Luxury Business Creation MSc or Fitness Business Creation MSc.
All three of the courses specialise in a rapidly expanding area of business innovation: fashion; fitness and design. Each offers a compelling combination of academic insight and hands-on, practical experience supported by industry, as well as including an essential industry experience module.
The judging panel, which includes Boohoo co-founder Carol Kane, will consider 500 word submissions on original, commercial, and financially achievable business ideas, alongside a five-minute video and short explanation of financial need.
