Boohoo launches new collection made from sustainably sourced materials

Fast fashion brand Boohoo has launched a new Recycled Wardrobe Essentials collection, made from more sustainably sourced materials.

The new range has been created using recycled cotton, recycled polyester and viscose, with aim of providing customers with "key wardrobe items that can be worn time and time again".

The collection features items in neutral colour tones to help customers build their wardrobe with a mix and match of formal and casual looks. Hero products within the collection include a hooded longline puffer gilet, oversized roll neck jumper, printed check scarf and wide-leg knitted set.

The collection starts at £8 and is available in sizes 8-28.

Rosie Howells, Head of Sustainability at Boohoo, said: “Everyone should be able to buy clothes that make them feel great at a price they can afford, but we know that fashion has a big impact on the environment. This collection is a great example of how our teams are working hard to understand that impact and reduce it, creating staple wardrobe pieces that our customers can wear again and again."

The new collection launch follows the recent announcement of Boohoo's expansion into beauty with its first beauty collection.
