Bloobloom heads East to Spitalfields for seventh London store

French fashion eyewear brand Bloobloom has opened a new 615 sq ft store in the heart of East London's Spitalfields at 41 Brushfield Street.

It marks the seventh London store for the brand, following those at Canary Wharf, Carnaby Street, Covent Garden, King’s Road, Marylebone and Westfield London (White City).

The Spitalfields store will offer customers “the full Bloobloom experience”, from walk-in eye examinations with in-house opticians, adjustment and repair services, as well as personalised style advice. All frames are handcrafted and made from sustainable materials.

The new store interior takes its design cues from the sun-drenched coastal architecture of the Mediterranean, with cream stucco walls, softly rounded ceilings and arches, and sand-toned linen curtains that gently diffuse the light.

Abbas Manai, Co-Founder of Bloobloom, said: "Opening in a prime spot in Spitalfields is the perfect next step for Bloobloom. This location allows us to deepen our connection with the East London community.

"Spitalfields is an exciting shopping destination and expanding our retail presence here helps us grow our reach while staying true to our mission of making quality, stylish eyewear more accessible. We are looking forward to welcoming loyal and new customers to this store."

Jason Dervin, Spitalfields Estate Director, added: "We’re thrilled that Bloobloom is joining our vibrant retail community. We believe the designer eyewear brand’s distinctive style and offering will not only excite our existing visitors, but also draw in a new wave of style-conscious individuals to discover all that Spitalfields has to offer."

The latest SS25 Bloobloom collection, featuring both sunglasses and spectacles, is now available in store, with prices starting at £99.

Bloobloom was founded by Abbas and Fares Manai in 2018. For every purchase made, a pair of glasses is donated to one of the world's 2.5 billion people in need who don’t have access to eyecare as part of the brand's ‘Pair for a Pair’ scheme.

Bloobloom’s ‘Pay What You Can’ loyalty scheme also offers customers the choice to choose their second pair of spectacles or sunglasses from a tiered system.
