Nike Unite will open its doors at Dublin’s largest retail destination Blanchardstown Centre in Spring 2023.

The concept store was designed to inspire people to get active and enjoy sports by featuring an in-store community wall highlighting local partnerships, landmarks, and Dublin athletes.

The space at Blanchardstown Centre will be Ireland's first Nike Unite Store, with two Nike Factory Stores already existing. Covering over 10,300 sq ft, the new unit is situated in a prime location on Level One of the centre and will stock Nike's covetable sports, fashion and footwear ranges for men, women, teens, and kids.

Sharon Walsh, Leasing Director of Falcon AM, asset managers for Blanchardstown Centre, added: “The new store’s community focus also speaks directly to our ethos here at the centre, and we know our customers will be incredibly excited to visit.”

Nike is the world’s largest supplier of athletic apparel and footwear, with annual revenue in excess of $46 billion in 2021. Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the sports giant has expanded to a team with over 79,000 people worldwide.

The Dublin retail destination has attracted a host of new brands, such as the crowd-drawing global chain Zara. The Spanish brand's new Blanchardstown Centre store is expected to open next month, which standing at 52,000 sq ft, will be the second largest Zara retail unit globally.

Pat Nash, Managing Director at Falcon AM, commented: “Nike Unite is the latest in a string of high-profile leasing deals for the centre – reflecting continued confidence in physical retail, as well as positive sentiment across the Irish market more broadly. With consistently high occupancy rates and healthy footfall levels, major Irish retail assets like Blanchardstown are really ‘bucking the trend’ at present – providing a direct contrast to the picture across much of Europe.”

Blanchardstown Centre (whose current occupancy currently stands at 98%) is Dublin’s largest retail and leisure destination, expanding over 1.1 million sq ft, with an annual footfall of over 16 million.
