BFC reveals nominees for The Fashion Awards 2025 – here's the fashion powerhouses in contention

Jonathan Anderson, Glenn Martens and Sarah Burton are among the confirmed nominees for The Fashion Awards 2025, set to take place on 1 December at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Organised by the BFC and presented by Pandora, the awards are the primary fundraising event for the BFC Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to securing the future of the British fashion industry through education, grant-giving, and business mentoring.

The ceremony honours fashion’s powerful influence at the intersection of culture and entertainment, while spotlighting the creative minds behind 2025’s most defining fashion moments.

The nominees are as follows:

Designer of the Year honours a British or international designer whose visionary collections have significantly influenced the industry and helped shape the direction of global fashion.

  • Glenn Martens for Diesel and Maison Margiela.
  • Jonathan Anderson for DIOR and JW Anderson.
  • Martine Rose for Martine Rose.
  • Miuccia Prada for Miu Miu.
  • Rick Owens for Rick Owens.
  • Willy Chavarria for Willy Chavarria.

British Womenswear Designer of the Year celebrates a British designer whose innovative and creative work has made a significant impact on the global womenswear landscape.

  • Charlotte Knowles and Alexandre Arsenault for KNWLS.
  • Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena for Chopova Lowena.
  • Erdem Moralıoğlu for ERDEM.
  • Sarah Burton for Givenchy.
  • Simone Rocha for Simone Rocha.

British Menswear Designer of the Year recognises a British designer whose innovative and creative designs have made a lasting impact on the global menswear landscape.

  • Craig Green for Craig Green.
  • Foday Dumbuya for LABRUM London.
  • Grace Wales Bonner for Wales Bonner.
  • Kiko Kostadinov for KIKO KOSTADINOV.
