The British Fashion Council (BFC) has announced Diet Coke as partner for The Fashion Awards 2022, helping to evolve the show into a global entertainment platform.

The Fashion Awards Red Carpet will be a focal point of the event, with Diet Coke bringing the experience to a global audience via a live broadcast on the BFC’s YouTube on 5 December at 6:15 pm.

In addition, Diet Coke's Glambot will capture guests’ glamorous looks as they arrive at The Royal Albert Hall. Diet Coke will also host exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes footage of guests, performers, and hosts.

The Fashion Awards is a fundraiser for the BFC Foundation, the charity that brings all the BFC’s charitable initiatives under one umbrella, supporting the future growth and success of the British fashion industry by focusing on education, grant giving, and business mentoring.

In 2021/22, the BFC raised £1.3 million for the BFC Foundation and was able to support designers and a number of students as they form their own careers.

Caroline Rush, BFC Chief Executive, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Diet Coke as the Principal Partner of The Fashion Awards 2022. Diet Coke is a brand synonymous with fashion, design, and style and its heritage of collaborating with some of the world's leading fashion houses and creators is impressive. As The Fashion Awards return on December 5th, we look forward to working with Diet Coke on celebrating all the exceptional individuals and businesses that have made significant contributions to the global fashion community this year.”

Omar Sadiq-Baig, Senior Brand Manager at The Coca‐Cola Company, added: “For the last 40 years, Diet Coke has brought the love and joy of fashion to fans through unique collaborations with some of the world’s biggest names in fashion and culture. Appearing backstage and in front rows, Diet Coke has become synonymous with the fashion industry. The Fashion Awards is one of the most anticipated moments in the global calendar and we are incredibly proud and excited to be the principal partner at this year’s iconic event.”

The line-up for additional entertainment including red-carpet performances, presenters and hosts will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Diet Coke recently collaborated with London Fashion Week and appointed Kate Moss as Creative Director of the brand.

Speaking about the new partnership, Kate Moss said: “I am thrilled to join the Diet Coke family – I love the past collaborations they’ve done with such incredible names in fashion. The Love What You Love campaign connected with me instantly as I am a firm believer that with confidence and passion, you can achieve your wildest dreams.”
