The British Fashion Council (BFC) has today announced that House of Holland and Self-Portrait will head the debut public-facing shows at London Fashion Week (LFW) in September 2019.

The designer brands will showcase their AW19 collections on Sunday 15 September to LFW ticket holders at three different time slots; 10am, 1pm and 4pm. Usually only open to the industry and press, the BFC initially announced LFW would be open to the public for the first time back in July.

The trade audience will attend on schedule catwalk shows and presentations routinely across the five days of LFW from 13-17 September 2019.

The public audience is able to purchase tickets to an “immersive LFW experience.” Standard tickets are priced at £135 and front row tickets at £245. The experience includes catwalk shows on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September, as well creative installations and industry-led talk panels from experts offering unparalleled insights to the fashion industry.

Both the trade and public can also attend the new Designer Exhibition, which aims to fully embrace #PositiveFashion, the BFC’s initiative designed to celebrate industry best practice and encourage future business decisions to create positive change.

The Designer Exhibition will be a space where guests can discover new creative brands and progressive designers, explore compelling stories and learn about how the fashion industry can be used as a force for change.

The full line-up of catwalk shows, talks and designers taking part in the Designer Exhibition will be announced in the next few weeks.
