Beyond Retro to open new store at Westfield London
Vintage clothing and accessories retailer Beyond Retro is gearing to open a new store at Westfield London in White City, on 25 March 2022.
The new Westfield destination is part of the retailer's brick and mortar expansion strategy and comes after last November’s Soho store relocation from Great Marlborough Street to Argyll Street, and last summer’s ‘Garage Sale’ pop-up store at Westfield Stratford. It also opened new stores in Stockholm and Gothenburg last year.
The new store, located near the Apple store and Nike Town, will house Beyond Retro’s usual offering of one-off pieces and key wardrobe staples from the 1940’s to the 00’s, with a focus on sustainability and a curated offer from brands including Levi’s, Carhartt, Adidas and Dr. Martens.
Kate Peters, Beyond Retro’s Global Retail Director, said: “Opening in Westfield London is a dream for us, and we hope to inspire more customers to shop sustainably with our vast range of handpicked vintage.
“Over the last two decades, we’ve grown from a one-off warehouse of on-trend treasures to the UK and Sweden’s largest independent vintage retailer, championing sustainability throughout our journey. We’re proud to make such a positive impact on the planet and we can’t wait to take our unparalleled experience to the largest shopping mall in Europe.
“In the midst of trying times for retail, the growing customer appetite to support independent and conscious businesses has given us more bold opportunities to increase our physical presence. This move into Westfield London is another step in the right direction, and hopefully signals a much more sustainable future for the British consumer.”
