Vintage clothing retailer Beyond Retro is offering a range of handpicked vintage clothing, normally sold in its stores in London - which are currently unable to open due to the pandemic - direct to retailers at wholesale prices for the first time.

Leveraging an international team of trend forecasters and product pickers, the brand’s vintage offering is now available to vintage sellers and retailers of any size to shop from a huge range of curated pieces from under £5 per item.

With movement limited in lockdown, customers can access the product via the Beyond Retro wholesale website, boxed and ready for sale. Online appointments can also be made.

Untouched by customers, never having reached the shop floor, it’s a rare opportunity for vintage resellers and businesses looking for unique, handpicked clothing from many different eras, styles and trends, with a focus on American and European vintage grades.

Global Managing Director of Beyond Retro, Kate Peters, said: “Our expertise, which we’ve honed over the last two decades, means we pick the best vintage, at scale, delivering on trend products for our discerning customers.

“Now with even more people trying to be more conscious in their consumption, we’re thrilled with the boom in vintage retailers and resellers, and want to contribute our knowledge and infrastructure to help support these businesses in lockdown. Together we can encourage more people to shop sustainably and make preloved a part of their wardrobe.”

Beyond Retro was founded in 2002, with a first store in East London on Cheshire Street. It currently has three stores in London, in Dalston, Brick Lane and Soho, as well as stores in Bristol, Brighton and five more in Sweden, plus an international website. The retailer’s founders are Steven Bethell and Helene Carter, who both head up the parent company, Bank & Vogue, specialists in used goods.

The retailer come wholesaler sells everything from across the eras, namely from the 1960’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 00’s, covering everything from wardrobe staples to statement pieces.

On the wholesale website, customers can see the products available are broken up into specific product categories, and have different brands and eras. At the moment, there’s an abundance of branded sportswear, T-shirts, jackets, knits, shirts and dresses available.
