Beyond Retro joins with Laura Ashley for archive sale at London store
Beyond Retro is partnering with heritage British lifestyle brand Laura Ashley on an exclusive sale of archive designs at the vintage clothing retailer’s store at Coal Drops Yard in London’s King’s Cross on 12 June 2026.
The archive sale will include some of the most highly sought-after and collectible pieces from the brand’s archive, carefully selected by Laura Ashley’s archivist, offering loyal collectors, enthusiasts and new audiences an exclusive and rare opportunity to buy a piece of Laura Ashley’s history and heritage.
With designs spanning from the 1980s to the 2010s, there will be a selection of dresses, skirts, blouses, jumpers, jackets and coats.
Additionally, there will be a selection of limited-edition upcycled designs created by Beyond Retro's in-house studio using original deadstock Laura Ashley fabrics, including one-off waistcoats.
Rooted in circularity and sustainability, the collection both highlights and “reimagines Laura Ashley’s romantic heritage and the brand’s signature floral prints through Beyond Retro’s distinctive true vintage lens”.
The partnership forms part of the brand's year-long ‘Laura Ashley: 100 Years of an Icon’ campaign - a celebration of the life and legacy of founder Laura Ashley, as well as the brand’s heritage and commitment to craftsmanship and enduring design.
In April, Laura Ashley, which was acquired from Gordon Brothers by Ben Sherman-owner Marquee Brands in January 2025, reported sales growth of 15% year-on-year for 2025.
The retailer described the sales growth as a “decisive turning point”, with strong commercial performance across home and womenswear.
It also reported that momentum had “carried through into the first quarter of 2026”, particularly through Laura Ashley’s partnership with NEXT, with womenswear and girlswear combined seeing an increase of 81% year-on-year.
On the own-brand retail front, Laura Ashley pointed to strong customer engagement at its store at Lakeside Retail Park in Thurrock, Essex, which opened in September 2025.
The success of the Lakeside store has “paved the way for further store presence over the coming year”.
