Ben Sherman returns to where it all started in Brighton and Soho
Ben Sherman, which is owned by US-based Marquee Brands, has followed up from its one-year pop-up at Coal Drops Yard in London’s King’s Cross – which opened at the end of March 2024 - with two permanent stores in Brighton and Soho.
The new 1,300 sq ft Brighton store, which opened at the end of last week, is located at 19-20 Dukes Lane, a stone’s throw from Ben Sherman’s first-ever store back in 1963 – the year the brand was founded - called Millions of Shirts Inc. on Duke Street.

Meanwhile, the new 677 sq ft Soho store, which opens on 29 August, is at 97 Berwick Street, around the corner from its previous store at 50 Carnaby Street which closed in June 2020. Ben Sherman also had a store on Carnaby Street in its 60s heyday where the Mods flocked to get their button-down shirt fix.

The new stores in Brighton and London's Soho are "designed to offer a quintessential Ben Sherman shopping experience", showcasing the ‘Signature’ and ‘B By Ben Sherman’ collections.
There will also be a capsule collaboration collection launching in September, though details of that remain guarded for now.
