Ben Sherman owner Marquee Brands appoints Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer

Leading US brand acquisitions and development company Marquee Brands, which owns brands including Ben Sherman, Dakine, Body Glove and Bruno Magli, has today announced the appointment of Heath Golden in a newly created senior management role of Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer.

The position has been created to optimise and accelerate business growth opportunities across fashion and lifestyle, including Ben Sherman, BCBGeneration and Bruno Magli, as well as the company’s maternity brands, including Motherhood Maternity and A Pea In A Pod, supporting CEO Neil Fiske’s strategic vision to become “the world’s most creative brand accelerator”.

Golden previously served as CFO of Randa Apparel & Accessories (RAA), where he drove business growth through several successful initiatives, while also successfully managing the business through the pandemic. Prior to his CFO role, he served as EVP, Chief Strategy Officer of RAA, spearheading the acquisitions of the Haggar and Tribal brands, as well as taking a significant ownership stake in leading UK formalwear retailer Moss Bros.

On the new appointment, Neil Fiske commented: “Heath brings a unique mix of talent and experience - from licensing to operations to digital to business transformation - that will be instrumental in capitalising on the growth opportunities we have identified. We are thrilled to have someone of his calibre and track record join the leadership team, and he is uniquely positioned to help us accelerate and grow even more rapidly.”
