Belstaff reopens Glasgow store

29 June 2020

British heritage brand Belstaff has today, 29 June, reopened its Glasgow store in line with the Scottish government’s guidelines on non-essential stores getting their doors back open after lockdown.

The reopening follows the brand’s two London stores on Regent Street and Lamb Street in Old Spitalfields Market - which also recently started trading again.

New policies and practises have been put in place to ensure a safe shopping environment. Belstaff’s stores will be deep cleaned before opening, and cleaned regularly throughout the day.

Customer numbers will be managed by location to allow social distancing inside the stores. Belstaff team members will be wearing face masks and gloves, with complimentary face masks provided to customers who request them.

Hand sanitiser is being provided for use at entry and exit, and the fitting rooms are closed but can be opened on request, and will be thoroughly cleaned after use. Clothing that has been tried on or returned will be quarantined for 72 hours.

The reopening sees the launch of a new appointment service, as Belstaff will now offer out-of-hours appointments, allowing guests to shop when the store is otherwise closed.

Customers can also book personal shopping appointments inside of opening hours, managed by store teams. The new store opening times are Monday to Sunday 11am–5pm.

Belstaff also has a new online one-to-one service for those who prefer to stay at home to shop, with outfitting advice provided by video call. Appointments can be made directly via email.
