Belstaff has launched a new collection with Apple TV’s latest show "Long Way Up", featuring Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman.

Beginning in 2004, Belstaff has provided clothing to Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman each time they have undertaken adventures around the world, including creating a purpose-built adventure suit in 2007, as the pair rode from John O’Groats to Cape Town.

In 2020 Belstaff has returned as their outfitter for the new Apple Original series, “Long Way Up.”

Ahead of the trip Belstaff worked with McGregor and Boorman to co-design the moto pieces worn throughout the journey. After exploring the brand’s nearly 100-year archive they co-created a collection that reflects their individual style and personalities, ensuring the products could stand up to the 13,000-mile journey through South America.

Off bike styles include a classic leather biker silhouette in the Montana Jacket, lined in the McGregor family tartan. Additional outerwear styles include the cotton four-pocket Long Way Up Field Jacket and Blouson, a versatile, packable down jacket, a range of cotton sweats and t-shirts, caps and a neck warmer complete the off bike offering.

On bike, McGregor worked with Belstaff to co-design the McGregor Pro Jacket, a take on the brand’s iconic four pocket design Belstaff is known for. The jacket features hardwearing and weather-resistant 12oz wax cotton fabric, with McGregor tartan lining.

Motorcycle gear specialist, Urban Rider has created a preview review of the signature McGregor Pro Jacket.

The eighteen-piece capsule collection is available from today in Belstaff stores, online and with select retail partners.
