Batch LDN, best known for its laid back suiting produced in small quantities, has opened a 2,000 sq ft flagship store set over two floors at 9-11 Short’s Gardens in the heart of London’s Covent Garden.

With a working title of ‘The Batch Members Club’, though that does not feature over the door, the new store sees the brand partner with like-minded British brands including Tom Dixon, Hyperion, Harvey Maria, Bobbi Beck, Colours of Arley and YesColours (paints), as well as interior designer Jim Butterell, in what it describes as a "community hub".

Julian Osborne, Co-founder of Batch LDN, said: "We're immensely proud to open our flagship store in Covent Garden at this early stage of our journey and thrilled to become part of such a vibrant community.

"It was a bold decision, one that comes with its share of risk, but we believe we've made the right calculations - and that the rewards will be worth it."

Taking inspiration from the likes of SPIRITLAND, Soho Home, Aime Leon Dior and Alex Eagle, the space features a "hi-fi" open cafe, multiple Ruark speakers to support guest DJ sessions, as well as a "living space" designed for relaxation and connection.

Osborne added: "In a time when people are buying fewer clothes but are seeking greater attachment to the pieces they do buy, this store is a place where visitors can not only shop but also engage deeply with the brand and its values."

The hi-fi open café has a La Marzocco coffee machine serving roasted coffee from Bailies Roastery - an Irish roastery with a low carbon footprint and an ethical supply chain, in line with Batch LDN’s founding values.
