BA&SH set to open store in Carnaby

03 April 2019

Premium Parisian womenswear brand BA&SH will open a 1,250 sq ft store at 20 Beak Street in London in early April.

Best friends Barbara Boccara and Sharon Krief, who gave the first two letters of their names to the brand, founded the label in 2003. In December 2015, L Catterton, the private-equity subsidiary of LVMH, invested in BA&SH, leading to a retail roll-out in France and the rest of Europe, as well as the USA and Asia.

The brand, known for its effortless and easy-to-wear pieces with a touch of feminine bohemian elegance, opened its first UK store at 7 South Molton Street in the summer of 2016. The new Soho store marks its eighth London opening, with other stores including two in Chelsea at 309 Brompton Road and 168 King’s Road.

The new store will open featuring the SS19 collection, which has famed model Claudia Schiffer as “the face”. Pieces from the range take inspiration from Schiffer and the empowering supermodel era of the 1990’s.

Addy Williams, senior retail portfolio manager at landlords Shaftesbury, says: “Shaftesbury welcomes BA&SH to Carnaby, a brand respected for its high-quality womenswear. It’s a fantastic addition to the area to sit alongside existing fashion brands such as Our Legacy, The Kooples and Sweaty Betty.”
